Product details

Product description
The Pheebs kitchen towel is made of a high quality 200 g/m² recycled cotton polyester blend. Recycled cotton is manufactured from pre-consumer waste generated by textile factories during the cutting process. Due to the nature of recycled cotton, there may be a very slight color variation. This feature distinctly adds to a more authentic appearance.
Green Points

What makes one product more sustainable than another?
Is it material, recyclability, eco-print, certificate, packaging? All these elements are important.

So we identified 8 different elements. We weighted each element and assessed all our products to determine their sustainability.

We call it our influence tool. The total score translates into Green Points.

Decorating technique

Screenprint

Screen printing consists in transferring graphics to the product using specially prepared screens.
Making a print consists in forcing the paint through sieves directly onto the object, then exposing it to harden it. Screen printing is characterized by very good quality and durability. An ideal method for printing on cotton, polyester, paper or plastic.

ADVANTAGES:
• permanent marking technique
• good color reproduction
• fast printing for large runs

DISADVANTAGES:
• each color needs a separate matrix
• in the case of several-colored graphics, shifts in printing may occur

Transfer print

In this method, the paint is first applied to the transfer paper, and then, using a thermal press, to the material. The transfer press, with appropriate pressure and temperature, heats the paint onto the product. We use it on mainly textile materials (cotton, polyester, etc.)

ADVANTAGES:

• application durability

• high color saturation

• attractive appearance

DISADVANTAGES:

• additional pre-press costs

• no possibility to make tonal transitions

• a limited number of colors

• a time-consuming method

• the cost of prepress

Embroidery up to 50 cm2

This method comes from hand-embroidery that was already used in ancient times. The whole process begins with the creation of an embroidery software. Afterward the pattern is embroidered on fabric.
